The key element of our products is quality control. Product Inspections allow us to verify product quality on-site at different stages of the production process and prior to its dispatch, hence we do not accept any returns or exchanges and all sales are final.
Exceptions may apply on a discretionary basis. (information below).
It is mandatory that you contact us via a message on WhatsApp and/or email us at athira.artstudio@gmail.com within 3 days of receiving your product, providing your Order Number, Full Name, and the reason for requesting a replacement or refund. This will allow us to schedule a pickup for the return of the product.
ORIGINAL PAINTINGS
All sales are final on original artworks and we are unable to accept returns.
CANVAS PRINTS
All prints are custom-made based on your selected image, size, material, and specifications. As such, your purchase is considered non-refundable and cannot be altered or returned after it has been printed.
NOTEBOOKS, ART PRINTS, COLLECTABLES, DIARIES, CALENDAR
All sales are final and we are unable to accept returns.
LOSS OR DAMAGE THROUGH SHIPPING
The buyers assume the responsibility for their shipment once it enters the postal system and the seller is not liable for any delay, damage, or loss that may occur during shipping.
Please check your delivery address and make sure your artwork can be delivered safely at your end.
Occasionally, handling by shipping agencies can result in damage, especially on lengthy trips. Loss or theft can also occur during delivery. Adhering to the following procedures will increase the chances of successfully pursuing the matter with the shipping company.
- It is advisable to not allow the courier to leave your parcel unattended if you are unable to receive it personally. In such cases, it is recommended to arrange for personal pick-up of the parcel from the shipping depot or an official hub.
- Upon receipt of the shipment, it is important to inspect the exterior packaging for any signs of damage. If damage is evident, either decline the delivery or open the package in the presence of the delivery person to inspect the contents.
- In the event that the artwork inside is damaged, decline the delivery and take photographs for documentation. It is imperative to report the damage and submit the documentation, along with photographs, to the local office of the shipping company within 7 days of receipt.
If these responsibilities are not met on your end, we will be unable to assist you.
Please be understanding when contacting us if your print or painting gets damaged, lost, or stolen during transit. We want you to know that it's just as disappointing for us. Please keep in mind that we have no control over the handling of your package by the shipping service or post office, but we will do our best to support you in resolving any issues.
OTHER SHIPPING EVENTS
In the event that your order is returned to me by the shipping service due to reasons such as an incorrect address provided, refusal to pay customs fees, or failure to receive the delivery, the following will apply:
- The cost of the order will be refunded, minus a 25% handling fee.
- For orders that came with free shipping, the refund will be the cost of the original order less the actual cost to ship the original order.
- Please note that the original shipping charges are non-refundable.
EXCEPTIONAL CIRCUMSTANCES
Under specific circumstances and at our sole discretion, we may accept a return provided the following conditions are met:
- The order must be shipped back within 7 days of receipt and prior notification must be given within 3 days of receipt through email or this website.
- The artwork must be returned in its original condition and packaging along with a copy of the receipt. We cannot provide a refund for artwork that has been damaged in transit back to the studio due to poor packaging.
- After inspection to verify the condition and packaging of the artwork, a refund or exchange will be processed.
- Any taxes or duties imposed by local customs will not be refunded.
- Original shipping charges are non-refundable and for orders with free shipping, the refund will be less the actual cost of shipping the original order.
ORDER CANCELLATIONS
It is recommended that you carefully review your order prior to its submission. Once the order has been confirmed and payment has been received, refunds will not be issued unless the order cannot be fulfilled. The seller reserves the right to cancel or alter an order at any time due to factors such as supply constraints, shipping disruptions, suspected fraud, or unavailability of a product.
COLOUR ACCURACY
Please be advised that the colours of the prints and paintings may appear differently on different computer monitors. There may be slight variations between the colours displayed on your screen and the actual colours of the product. To ensure you are satisfied with the product, we recommend reviewing the colours on multiple monitors prior to purchasing. We strive to accurately represent the colours and tones in our work and if you have any questions or concerns about the colours, please do not hesitate to contact us by email or Whatsapp.

Please note that all returns will be processed within 7-10 business days of receipt.
